Restaurant Café Čaiju

Restaurant Čaiju invites you to enjoy delicious food in the beautiful surroundings of the Juutua River, in the heart of Inari village. We serve a tasty lunch on weekdays, and our à la carte menu features local favourites such as traditional sautéed reindeer and rich Rainbow trout soup.

We bake fresh sweet buns and doughnuts daily, perfect alongside a cup of speciality coffee or perhaps a chaga or chai latte. Stop by for lunch, take your time over a coffee, or enjoy a delicious meal as part of your visit to Inari!

Café and restaurant Čaiju is an important meeting place in the middle of Inari, offering delicious lunch and great coffee experiences. Its name derives from a Skolt Sámi word meaning tea. 

Čaiju serves tasty lunch from Monday to Friday between 11am and 2 pm. The lunch is buffet style and includes a salad buffet with a large variety of ingredients to choose from, main lunch, bread and butter/spread and includes a coffee or tea as well. The restaurant is conveniently located at the centre of Inari, making it a perfect place to grab a quick lunch. Or you can take your time, sit back and enjoy the view to Juutua river in a relaxed atmosphere. 

The café is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 3 pm. Lunch is offered Mon-Fri between 11am and 2 pm.

Restaurant-Café Čaiju caters to all events organised at Sajos. The facilities are adaptable to both small and large events.
Catering is done according to the client’s wishes with friendly service.
